Stairway to Heaven - Outdoor: Stairway to Heaven has 3 spacious decks to enjoy the peaceful mountain scenery and maybe have a glimpse of the deer, bears, turkeys and other animals from the nearby Smoky Mountain National Park. Enjoy the bubbly hot tub, porch rockers and swing. Guests have access to 3 community club houses in Chalet Village that offer pools, tennis, workout room, bathroom and changing facilities, indoor game rooms, snack and drink machines and ample free parking. If you like to explore on foot, the park offers everything from short nature trails to longer back country hikes. The park is filled with trails, waterfalls and an abundance of wildlife. Horseback riding and trout fishing are also favorite outdoor activities in the Smokies.

Stairway to Heaven - Location: Stairway to Heaven is located on a private setting on Ski Mountain, 5 minutes from Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort and Amusement Park. It is less than 5 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and 10 minutes from the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. It is 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge and Dollywood, and 45 minutes from Knoxville Tennessee. If you are looking for a place that gives the feeling of seclusion, but offers an abundance of activities, then this is the place.

Ski: Skiing is available in season in Ober Gatlinburg. Take the Aerial Tramway from downtown Gatlinburg to Ober Gatlinburg for ice skating all year long and skiing in winter when snow conditions are present. Ober Gatlinburg offers Go-Karts, Water Rides, Alpine Slide, Indoor Ice Skating, Black Bear Habitat, Chairlift, Shops, Restaurant/Lounge, Winter Skiing, Snowboarding and more!

Guest Book: I think we got the best cabin in all of the Smokey Mountains. Very convenient to Gatlinburg but away from the traffic and noise. The house is equipped with all you will need. The best rental home we have ever stayed in. The game room was excellent for our kids. Access to the pools is a mile away but worth the drive if you just want a day at home (plus the drive is beautiful). Plenty of space and a nice flat yard for the kids to spend time outdoors (very unusual in the mountains). We loved our days in the mountains. Great drive through Cades Cove and hking to waterfalls. All close to this cabin. Even rainy days in the cabin were pleasant. One evening at dusk we looked outside to see a black bear in the yard. The next evening a family of wild turkeys was hanging out when we arrived.
