Soak up the stunning panoramic views of pristine mountains, ocean, islands, marina and gardens. These views are enthusiastically declared, by all who visit, to be of the best in Vancouver. Recently remodeled to the highest standards, Eagle's Nest is an open concept, 1600 square foot, 2 story house. It features a Jacuzzi in the bathroom, a hot tub in the garden with an amazing view, oak flooring, a large fireplace (wood provided), a fully equipped kitchen, including top of the line appliances and gas stove. The natural knotty cedar walls and post and beam construction creates a rich warmth and natural beauty.

All of this, only a 5 - 10 minute walk away from the house (Eagle's Nest). Proximal attractions include Vancouver's famous Stanley Park featuring the Vancouver Aquarium, Horseshoe Bay; a seaside village, marina and major ferry depot, Grouse Mountain Gondola, Lighthouse Provincial Park, and Whytecliff Provincial Park. Eagles Nest is about 90 minutes south of Whistler Ski Resort, 20 minutes northeast of downtown Vancouver, 10-30 minutes from incredible hiking, skiing and snow boarding on our local mountains (Mount Seymour, Grouse Mountain, and Cypress Bowl) and two and a half hours from Seattle.

Notes: We have a very large deck at 350 square feet. Non smoking inside but smoking allowed outside on the deck or in the garden. The central heating system is renter controlled. Wood is provided for the fire place. We have a wood bridge over the property stream with a path leading to the Hot Tub. Relax while absorbing the beautiful views. A natural wood enclosure provides privacy while outside. More Kitchen items: kettle, juicer, weight scales, measuring cup and spoons, rice cooker, grater, salad spinner and a variety of pots, pans, and bowls. Dining table seats 8; place settings for 10; deck table seats 6; plenty of comfy deck chairs; a high chair is available. Covered parking for 2 cars; please discuss if more needed Free Telephone including International calls for your use.

Soak up the views on the huge, private feeling, 350 sq ft sunny deck featuring gas BBQ, table for six and lots of comfortable seating. Binoculars are available for close up views or star gazing at the beautiful night sky away from the city lights. You may relax and be entertained by the profuse bird life including bald eagles, hawks and humming birds or by the yachts and kayaks gliding quietly in and out of Deep Cove below. You might wander into the garden, across the stream and take in the view from the hot tub. You may choose to hike the beautiful Baden Powell Trail which can be accessed just steps away from Eagle's Nest. After about 45 minute's of experiencing majestic Douglas Fir forest and crossing numerous gurgling streams, you come out at the 'Rock', a granite promontory offering breath taking views of Deep Cove and the Indian Arm.

Maplewood Farm, 10 minutes away, is a great place for families to visit.
