River and Redwoods: We are in Guerneville, CA, on the Russian River, surrounded by beautiful majestic redwoods. Swim, kayak, canoe, fish in the river, or relax on the beach. Hike and picnic in the redwoods. Shops and groceries in Guerneville. PeeWee golf and tennis court just down the road. Public golf course only 10 minutes away.
Wine Country: Sonoma County is a wine country destination. Many wineries nearby with on site wine tasting. World class restaurants with great chefs and first class wine lists throughout the county, many within a 30 minute drive.
