Playas del Coco is a cool little place about 35 miles Southwest of the city of Liberia on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica in the province of Guanacaste. It is a great location for those who are seeking a centrally located home base for exploring the beauty of Guanacaste. Daniel Oduber International Airport is only a short 25 minute drive away, so you won't be wasting any valuable holiday time driving to and from the airport. It is served by American, Continental, Delta, Northwest, United & US Airways. Three Canadian airlines that fly into the airport are Sunwing, Sky Service & Air Canada. Notes:
My unit is on the first floor about 10 feet from the pool, so you won't have to be trudging up and down the stairs every time you go somewhere. There is a very good Italian restaurant called La Dolce Vida that takes about 2 minutes to walk to from my front door. They also offer take-out service as well as complimentary wireless internet access. Near the restaurant is a small General Store that has a little bit of everything that you might need, without having to go to the grocery store in town.
