Area Attractions: Portland's Old Port with awesome night life and boutique shopping 20 minutes by car.....Freeport LL Bean and numerous brand name outlets less than 40 minutes. A short drive to the charm of Kennebunkport for Dock Square dining, shopping and around Ocean Drive for the rocky coast and the Bush family compound, Walker's Point. Ski: An hour and a half from Sunday River -- but just minutes to the Maine Mall -- Cabella's hunting and fishing store (yes, the huge store!!) now open 10 minutes away in Scarborough!! -- Freeport Outlets -- Kittery Outlets also a short drive away!!
Golf: Dunegrass Golf Course a five minute drive.....excellent championship golf! Sable Oaks South Portland a great place while the kids are at the nearby Maine mall.
