Have your morning coffee on the top floor deck while watching a beautiful sunrise, your children in the pool below or on the beach, or saying 'hi' to the pelicans and gulls as they wing past you close by. You may even watch a pod of dolphins making their way by off shore. The unit has two TV's, VCR and DVD for rainy days or evenings. Board games are also supplied to let families reconnect and enjoy one another. A secure wireless internet connection is available. The unit is clean, cozy and comfortable for up to six guests, with full cooking and laundry facilities. The convenience store across the street carries many essentials, and a super market is located uptown. Please bring your own bed linens and towels. The building is in the south end, a quarter mile from 'the lake', a large city-owned lake with kayaks and paddle boats for rent & a walking track. We are also a 12 minute saunter down the beach from the Boardwalk and the Marriott.
There are lots of fun things to do in Carolina Beach and in Wilmington, Kure Beach and Southport all nearby. The NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher is especially pleasant. There is both miniature golf at the boardwalk, and grown-ups golf all over the cape. In town, there is a four screen movie theater uptown, restaurants, marinas and town-sponsored entertainment during the summer in Lake Park and on the beach.
Rent includes sales and room tax. Cleaning fee is $55. A refundable damage deposit of $300 will reserve the unit for you.
