Our Suggestions for a Perfect Day on Squaw Cove: Wake to the sunrise and the mist rising over the narrows. Take a morning dip in the crystal clear water. Sip your morning coffee on the dock and enjoy the vista of the Squam Range. Fish unlimited wooded shoreline, spend the day on the lake or up a nearby mountain. Take a leisurely afternoon nap in the hammock at the waters edge. Bbq on the deck within steps of the waters edge. Take an early evening kayak to the far side of the cove to hear loons and maybe see a moose. Finish the day with a good book, puzzles or family games. If this is your view of a perfect day, you will fall in love with this place as we have.
Our Favorite Excursions: Breakfast at the Sandwich General Store and Internet Cafe. Squam Lakes Science Center. Squam Lakes Association. Sandwich Home Industries/League of NH Craftsman. Nearby Hikes - East and West Rattlesnake, Mt Morgan and Mt Percival. Boat or drive to Dinner at Walters Basin - Main st, Holderness.
