Beautiful and serene Kalaheo House in the farmland hills of Kalaheo. Half a mile from the main highway, a five minute walk to the shops and restaurants of Kalaheo. A fifteen minute scenic drive to Poipu Beach. Just ten minutes from local charming Koloa Town. Twenty minutes from Lihue airport. Located centrally on Kauai on the south side. Bucolic farmland house overlooking pastures and hillsides, very quiet and peaceful. Full kitchen. Master bedroom and loft have California King 'tatami mat' beds with wool mattresses, or cotton if preferred, perfect for Kauai's tropical weather. Three other bedrooms have the same in Queen size. Ethernet modem, TV and DVD-VCR player in living room, master bedroom and loft. Two full baths downstairs, new first level bath is handicapped friendly, quarter bath upstairs. The lanai is perfect for sunrise breakfast or cool drinks while viewing the sunset on the mountains.

The Kalaheo Vacation Rental sits on a mountain hillside in the farmland of Kalaheo. Horses, cattle and other farm animals roam the hillside while the house is away from the hillside pastures on the hill facing West. The lanai looks out over grassland with large trees on the South side of the area below. The air is refreshing and the ambient wind is very good on the hill.

  • The newly constructed and fully permitted bathroom in the second bedroom downstairs is handicapped friendly with a burm shower dam rather than an obstacle so that wheelchairs and infirm guests may pass in and out of the shower with ease, handicapped bars are in place and the entry door is ramped and large sized for a wheelchair, also includes a high-level toilet with handicap bars and a wheelchair-wall-mounted sink. The new bathroom is fully tiled and has a breezy window for ventilation.
