Lake Superior: The west facing home and deck offer some of the most spectacular sunsets west of the Pacific coast! Every night is normally a breathtaking sight and you will soon decide that the deck or the beach is the place to be for every sunset! You will find yourself lulled to sleep with the lapping of the waves... or sometimes the excitement of the crashing of the waves... The ever changing views of Lake Superior never fails to leave a lasting impression on you for years to come!
Keweenaw and Copper Country: This area will amaze you with all of the many options of activities to stimulate your mind and, if you choose, your body... or at least your taste buds! The local restaurants offer world-class menus which feature many unique tastes and locations, i.e. Lake shore, in the woods, log cabins, even on bay front with dancing waitresses. Local antique shopping will amaze you in between your visits to the various historical sites throughout the area.
Superior Shores Estate: We have owned this property for almost 20 years. We built the Main House in 1991 and the Carriage House in 1999. We have many great memories from every season and once you spend some time on the shores of Lake Superior, you will never forget the spectacular sunsets, the peaceful sounds of the lake and forest, dining out on the deck and the occasional deer walking up the drive. This area is a very special part of the country and if you haven't visited the Keweenaw, we encourage you to take the step and experience it for real!
Ski: Hundreds of miles of turn-of-the century railway tracks have been converted to X-country ski trails offer the best cross country skiing in the mid west. The downhill skiing at Mt.
