Snorkeling and Diving: There are many spectacular places to snorkel and dive in and around Puerto Aventuras. The beaches are beautiful and the water is crystal clear. Both of the beaches in Puerto Aventuras are great spots! We recommend taking a trip to Xel-Ha as well - it is spectacular! We are very close by this popular tourist spot. There are also caves in the area to explore - we went on a tour where you hike through a trail in the jungle to get to this remote spot. Here you can swim and explore - our kids loved it! The tourist operator had also just caught a boa constrictor near the caves and was relocating it to a better place - very cool to see in the wild. Many adventures are here for you to see and make a wonderful vacation experience out of.
Dolphin Discovery: If you have never had the opportunity to swim with dolphins, here is your chance! There is a Dolphin Discovery place within walking distance of our condo that is located in the center of the marina in Puerto Aventuras. If you prefer to watch, this is fun too - there are restaurants and shops surrounding the dolphins where you can sit back and enjoy the shows. It truly is amazing what these animals can do and to actually interact with them is something you will never forget.
Golf: We are located right on a 9 hole golf course. The city is planning to expand to an 18 hole course. There is another golf course located in Playa, which is 15 minutes away. There is also a golf course, called the Mayakoba, which is about 1/2 hour from the condo - I have seen the pros play at this one on TV! There are various other courses in the Cancun area, which is about an hour and 15 minutes away.
Other Activities: Xel-Ha, XCaret, cenotes, caves, golf car rental in town
