Students from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and Chippewa Valley Technical College mix easily with residents and business leaders from local interests including ConAgra Grocery products and the 3 M Company. Lake Tainter Information: 1752 Acres lake. 37 foot max depth. Lots of boating, swimming and fishing every summer. Great cross country skiing, snowshoeing and hiking in winter.
