My wife and I enjoy renting private homes regularly when we travel. Our experiences have taught us what it takes to ensure a wonderful vacation experience. We are excited to provide you with a beautifully appointed property in a gorgeous setting.
Before we purchased this house, we did some extensive research regarding availability of direct access, direct river front homes on the Delaware River. I believe this house is a one of a kind offering anywhere 50 miles up or down the Delaware River. This is not only riverfront as far as views are concerned but the access to the river is as easy as stepping out your back door. Its uniqueness as a rental property is only that more special due to the location of this house along the river. In a quiet residential neighborhood lined with beautiful trees, when you arrive to this small town, you will feel as if you have gone back 50 years, to a time when life moved just a little slower and everyone was just a little friendlier. But a town where art and antiques are as easy to find as good wine, cappuccino, and gourmet food.
We're right on the river! Canoe, Fish, Swim, Bird Watch, Nap, Star Gazing... An easy 2 hour drive NW of NYC South, West and North Exposures Available for short or long term rental Quiet tree lined neighborhood Walk to town, art galleries, shops and restaurants A few Farmer's Markets to choose from with local produce! Broadband available - Cable and DSL Wonderful deck for entertaining and sunsets Kitchen with all new appliances and fixtures 20 minutes from the new Bethel Woods Center for the Performing Arts (that's the site of the 1969 Woodstock festival!) Last year's weekly concerts featured: The New York Philharmonic / Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young / Goo Goo Dolls / Phil Lesh and Wynton Marsalis among other stars! And...twenty minutes from a cabaret club that serves out weekly performances by the city's brightest talents. Some of last year's singer's were: Karen Mason, Ann Hampton Callaway, Jeanne MacDonald, Mark Nadler, etc.
Golf: Sullivan County and the surrounding areas host over 20 different golf courses including the world famous Concord 'Monster' and the Grossinger's course. All of the courses are public and usually readily available.
