- There is also a fold out couch that sleeps 2 in the living room. The camp style bedroom has three twin beds & French doors leading out to your private balcony. The master bedroom has a king size bed on the main floor, and is easily accessible with wheelchair.The third bedroom has a queen bed and TV/DVD player and enough room for a playpen or sleeping bag. The home has a few sleeping bags for those that might be interested in star gazing up from the balcony's.

Chimney Rock Park is just 5 minutes from the house. You and your family will enjoy the hiking experience to the falls and to the top of the mountain. Spend the Day shopping for homemade foods and handcrafted items in Chimney rock town. Don't forget to take the kids to the gem rock mine, here they will be able to pan for their own gems and take them home ! The gem mine has one of the best jewelry stores in Asheville. They specialize in rare and unique gems and designs. The kids will love Lake Lure Beach , here the kids will have fun filling up water balloons and sling shot them to the walker passers. Lake Lure has been named one of the top best man made lakes in the world by National Geographic, a variety of water sports including, jet skies, wave runners, paddle boats, fishing boats, canoes and kayaks, or arrange a pleasure cruise on the lake. The movie Dirty Dancing was filmed in this location . Bring the fishing polls ! The river is full of fish.
Asheville is 17 miles from the house. The famous Biltmore Estate is located here. Here you can tour the facility and the visit the wine vineyards. You can taste several types of wines and buy some for home. Take the kids to sliding rock for the day, where they can slide along a natural rock slide into a pond. White water rafting and tubing anyone The kids love to go Mt Mitchell for sledding and skiing. The most important and most beautiful ride is through the Blue Ridge Mountain Parkway. The scenic views are breathtaking and seem endless. There are plenty of water falls and hiking available ,along with a hands on projects for the children at the museum
Guest Book: We had six members of our family stay for one week. We had such a great time. My children enjoyed the walk up along the property, only to find the cutest little ponies in there little red barn. They especially liked the camp style room with private balcony and Jacuzzi tub ! I think everyone learned the game of pool here, including me. We would love to stay here again ! It was the moms weekend out. Five of us women (all high school buddies from the 70's) had a nice little get together . We played pool and poker for hours and dancing and singing to the sounds of the 70's. Upstairs we went for some hot coffee and homemade cookies while swapping stories around the fire place. .This was our best vacation yet ! earline7 My family and I enjoyed the home very much. The children liked having their own balcony upstairs. The house was spacious enough for all of us. ritarice
