- Every bathroom (& every other room) is sparkling clean, thanks to the diligent efforts of our housekeeper Sherry. Because we have entrusted only Sherry (not a cleaning service) with cleaning Sanibel, she takes great pride in preparing Sanibel for our arriving guests. 1st floor Master Bath (accessible from the Master bedroom &from the hall) and 3rd floor Master Bath both have large garden tubs and custom shower curtains. Second floor 'kids' bath' has combination tub/shower & is decorated with a tropical fish wallpaper border, custom shower curtain, & fish motif accessories and rugs. All 3 bathrooms have double sinks in the vanities and very large mirrors above, from one end of the vanity to the other, so that everyone can be ready on time to go out to dinner. The 3rd floor Master bath is very large & private - accessible from the master bedroom only - and offers access to the private 3rd floor balcony. The large linen cabinets offer lots of storage for towels & spa-type items.

- The Great Room has a full-size sofa sleeper - perfect for those night owls watching late-night movies on our DVD/DVR or 'surfing' Beach TV, a local channel that highlights what's new on the Emerald Coast. Both the 1st floor master bedroom and 3rd floor master suite have king beds. The new full-size sofa sleeper in the sitting area of the 3rd floor master comes in handy if you prefer for your little ones to sleep nearby. New in '08: mini-fridge & dry bar in 3rd floor master! Spacious 2nd floor BR w/ queen bed still leaves room for our new Pac 'n Play Portacrib. All bedrooms have custom bedspreads, art & accessories, ceiling fans, nightstands w/ lamps, alarm clock/radio, TV/VCR combos or TV/DVD/CD players. The laundry room, conveniently located on the 1st floor, contains a full-size washer & dryer. To protect our guests' privacy, I have used only their first or last names and have either withheld the name of their hometowns or have shown only the state. I have kept the same guest book there on the foyer table for all of our guests, no matter how young, to read, to write a note or comment in, or to draw a picture. Reading the comments & looking at the art drawn by previous guests is a favorite pastime of all our guests while they are at Sanibel. The children's notes and drawings are so precious to me that I have kept this now 'dog-eared' full book plus the new one. In our many years of renting Sanibel & advertising online, I have never asked a guest to enter a comment in the online Guest Book; however, since this website is SOON going to eliminate the guest comments that I HAVE ENTERED, I will have no choice but to ASK my guests to write ON-LINE REVIEWS.
