Fishing here on the bay is some of the best from 40+lb. rockfish to bluefish, Spanish mackerel, croaker, spot and flounder to name a few! Pet Friendly: with owners consent. Kid Friendly: Nice secure neighborhood /small development 'low traffic' nice roads for bike riding. Bikes included! Basketball hoop in driveway. Minimum Age Limit for Renters: 27 check out time is 10am check in time is 4pm,. Smoking Not Allowed inside home. New Rinnai gas water heater for Unlimited hot water. Oversize peddleboat the kids will love. I offer personal service with this house, in that I will meet you at the house and answer questions and help anyway I can. I'm here during the cleaning of this house and we make sure its as clean as possible. I also own a private marina nearby that's within eyesight of the Chesapeake Bay that you can use. I'm just 2 miles and a phone call away.
Decks (3): Upper deck is 16 by 20 with 2 large gas grills 10ft. table and 10 nice patio chairs, awning and umbrella . Lower deck is 30 by 10 and has hot tub, nice tables, chairs, charcoal grill and extra large umbrella. 3rd deck is about 18 by 20 by 15 'triangular in shape' and located at the dock and has picnic table and bench and umbrella. Balcony (2): 1 off master bedroom and 1 off den
For the inquisitive: Reedville is a fishing village located at the far eastern end of Virginia's Northern Neck, population around 300. It is located in Northumberland County, which has about 11,000 residents. Reedville is named for Captain Elijah Reed, who founded the town in 1874 when he started the menhaden fishing industry, which is still going today. It features historic Victorian mansions built by factory owners and fishing boat captains. Main Street was known as 'Millionaire's Row,' home to wealthy fishermen who made their fortunes from the menhaden that was plentiful in the Potomac and Chesapeake Bay. The Reedville Fishermen's Museum, in the Reedville Historic District, tells the story of the menhaden fishing industry, the watermen of the Northern Neck, and the Victorian fishing village of Reedville. Self-guided walking tours of the historic district are available from the museum. Reedville is also a significant charter-fishing center for Chesapeake bay.
