Great Turtle Villa is centrally located in the Upper Carolina area of Coral Bay on the 'backside' of St. John. This peaceful mountainside retreat basks in tropical breezes all day long and the paved roads make the climb easy. Coral Bay is considered the quiet, more funky side of St. John. It is close to the spectacular National Park Beaches - an easy 5 minutes from the house - as are some of the best hiking trails in the Park. Coral Bay is home to the famous Skinny Legs Bar, a must-see in the Caribbean. There are several other wonderful restaurants nearby. Cruz Bay, the main town, is just 20 minutes away.
