Luxurious decorating and wonderful art have been combined with beautiful wood work, tile and hardwood floors to create a stunning, yet comfortable interior in this very special island home. A fully furnished kitchen, with lots of counter space, has a full stove, dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator with ice maker. There are telephones and an answering machine, as well as a separate laundry room on the lower level with washer and dryer. The Master Suite is located on the second level with a king bed and full bath. There are two guest bedrooms, each with a queen bed and a private full baths. The 'Blue Room' is located on the second floor and the 'Green Room' is on the main level, adjacent to the living room. All bedrooms have ceiling fans, or leave the French doors open and enjoy the tropical breeze.
A large hot tub is located on a sun deck on the lower level. There are plenty of lounge chairs to enjoy the view or sit in the tub at night and find your favorite constellation. Bella Vista is a wonderful house for a secluded honeymoon, but is equally comfortable with two couples or a small family. Beach chairs, beach towels, coolers, umbrella, masks and snorkels are provided. This St. John villa rental is five miles (20 minutes) from Cruz Bay on Centerline Road and then one and a half miles on the paved Bordeaux Mountain Road. The last .25 mile to Bella Vista is unpaved (4WD is A MUST). It is a six minute drive to the Northshore Beaches; three minutes to the Reef Bay Trail; seven minutes to Coral Bay; It is one-quarter mile from Château Bordeaux, one of the Island's best restaurants. From the front door, you can hike the Bordeaux Mountain Trail to Lameshur Beach in one hour.
St. John is reached from St. Thomas via a twenty min. ferry ride. St. Thomas is primarily serviced by Delta, American, US Air, United and Continental Airlines from the states.
