The GateHouse is located in So Dartmouth, MA overlooking Buzzards Bay. The property consists of 25 acres of manicured lawns with many moss covered paths meandering throughout the property. Imagine sitting in the airy living room watching the fish break the surface of the water or gazing out the windows to where Cuttyhunk and the Elizabeth Islands dot the horizon. How about a game of tennis in the morning and then a refreshing swim off the private dock to cool down? Or perhaps a picnic on the private beach or nearby at Demarest Lloyd State Park is the solution for a lazy day. The best place to view the glowing sunset is at the Boathouse or paddling down Slocum River in your kayak. Historic New Bedford was at one point in time the wealthiest city in the United States as the capital of the Whaling Industry. The Demarset Lloyd State Park, Lloyd Center for Environmental Studies, UMass Dartmouth, galleries, museums, fabulous biking, some of the best fly fishing on the east coast, winery tours, antiques, etc are all within striking distance. South Dartmouth was written up in the Boston Globe not long ago as the best kept secret. Come and visit and before long you'll be looking for your own home!
