It's a great place to build a sandcastle, look for dolphins, watch sailboats on the horizon, fish, swim, play, and relax. If you want a snack, the beach pavilion is a 5 minute walk away and has a snack bar, ice cream, and restrooms. Take a walk on the beach and you're likely to find a sand dollar. Go to the beach at sunset and you'll find a spectacular view of the sun melting into the Gulf of Mexico. Sit back, enjoy and take it all in!
Entertainment: You'll find lots to do in the area. Nearby towns are fun to explore. Sarasota is centrally located in Florida and you can plan day trips to nearby attractions. Florida's many parks and recreation areas provide a real 'taste of Florida.' If you love seafood, you'll find wonderful restaurants with great ambiance.
