Information about this condo rental in San Diego

The entire East wall of our home is floor-to-ceiling windows directly overlooking Balboa Park! With the park outside, you'll have no trouble finding something to do, or beautiful scenery to enjoy from our 7th-story balcony. The interior is also beautiful, filled with custom Argentinean furniture, hardwood floors, 3 plasma TVs, and a Baby Grand piano. The kitchen contains all modern steel appliances, granite counters, and top of the line cooking equipment. There's even a complete home office. Within the park, the San Diego Zoo and an intimidating number of museums, gardens, and other attractions are all within walking distance! Even better, all of San Diego's neighborhoods are close by. Downtown and the Gas lamp Quarter are just a mile south, Hillcrest is a mile north, and the Seaport is just a mile west. Mission Beach and Sea World are just a 10-minute drive away. You'll have all San Diego has to offer, and a quiet serene setting right off the park.

Since our condo is right across the street from Balboa Park, everything to do in the park is just a short walk away. Visit the Giant Pandas at the Zoo, the Museum of Man, the botanical gardens, the Ruben H. Fleet Science Center, and all the other attractions -- without searching for a parking space! But we like the neighborhood best because it's so close to all the other neighborhoods. A mile south down Sixth Avenue will take you to the Gas lamp Quarter, the Horton Plaza mall, and Petco Park. A mile north and you're in Hillcrest, where quaint shops and restaurants of every ethnic cuisine are represented. Another favorite is the waterfront, where you can go whale watching, take a harbor cruise, or visit Seaport Village. A visit to Old Town will give you a glimpse of early San Diego history. Both the Gas lamp Quarter and Hillcrest provide great night-life, with many clubs, bars, and other entertainment to choose from.
