Feastin', Fishin' and Funnin': Marsh Harbour is the gateway to the Abaco island group. Although it is the largest town in the Abacos, and the third largest in The Bahamas, there are only about 7,000 inhabitants Marsh Harbour's maritime activities are mainly tourist-oriented. There are a number of good bars and restaurants with names like Mangoe's, Sapodillas, Snappas and the Lofty Fig.

Excellent Facilities & Services : There's good shopping and a range of services as well - facilities not found in many Out Island settlements. Excellent water-taxi connections make this a popular place from which to explore the offshore cays, including Man-O-War, Green Turtle and Elbow. A paved highway links Marsh Harbour to all the settlements on the Abaco 'mainland',

Famous for Eco-tourism: Activities include snorkeling and scuba diving, fly fishing and deep sea fishing, sailing and skiing, cycling and hiking, bird watching, boar-hunting and blue hole exploring. The nearby Abaco National Park encompasses 20,000 acres of pine forest, and the 220-acre Pelican Cays Land and Sea Park is famous for its mangroves and near shore reefs.
