A new luxury villa in own private gardens with own 30' pool. Set in the hills above the picturesque old fishing town of Tavira with views of both the sea and panoramic hill views. 5 minutes drive from the town centre and only 15 minutes from 3 glorious 18 hole golf courses. A truly magnificent property finished to an impeccable standard. All bedrooms are en-suite, large lounge impressive kitchen. Huge roof top terrace as well as poolside terrace. The layout of the bedrooms is as follows: 2 x large ensuites one opening onto the rooftop terrace and the other leading out onto a poolside patio, each have double beds. The third bedroom, of equal size has two single beds which can be made into one double. There is an ensuite bathroom. The property is ideal for 6 people. The property also has two camp beds which can be used according to needs.

Tavira, considered to be the most beautiful town in the Algarve, is 5km away, with the river Gilau flowing through the centre, and its 25 churches, and its very friendly people. The nearest village is Sto Estevao, also about 5km away, where you can find a church, post office, restaurant, chemists, two general stores and two bars. Further details With easy access to the IP1 motorway and the EN 125, all amenities can be easily reached. As well as a choice of Blue Flag beaches in the Parque Natural da Rio Formosa, (Nature Reserve), and golf courses, places of interest to visit include local Algarve villages and small towns, such as Sto Estevao, Estoi, St Bras, Cachopo, Vila Real, or further afield, the west coast, Lisbon, or Seville (2 hours drive away). There are ferries to and from the islands across the Rio Formosa, boat trips on the River Guardiano, and for shopping, cinemas or indoor bowling, Forum Algarve in Faro offers entertainment on a wet day.

The property is accessed through electric gates leading up a private lit driveway to a courtyard.

Towels and linen are provided. In the case of 2 week bookings, fresh sheets will be made available at the end of the first week if required. A washing machine and dryer are available at extra cost. A €20 charge will secure the use of these for a day payable to the local agents who live 800 yards from the property.

Car rent - a 5% discount is available on car rental with 'mudarent', a reputable company offering already excellent rates. The company has offices in both Tavira and Faro and usually arrange for the car to be waiting at the airport. On booking with Mudarent enter the details Parrett..White Horse on the booking form to receive a 5% discount from the advertised price.

Golf: Now there is a wonderful new golfing area in the eastern Algarve, which has quietly developed an excellent golfing infrastructure over the last three years. Three excellent new eighteen hole courses have been developed over the last three years within ten minutes drive of the centre of Tavira. Benamor is a lovely course just five minutes out of town. It is in excellent condition and has a lovely friendly clubhouse, is easily walk able and even has a church where you can retire to contemplate the reason for all those three putts on the fast sloping greens. Just a mile further out of town is the superb 36 hole complex of Quinta de Cima and Quinta da Ria where the fairways are like greens in the UK! It is worth emailing them for their latest discount packages which can offer more than 50% off the standard green fees. Please contact us for their web site address
