Dominical is a 4-hour drive from San Jose, capital of Costa Rica via either of two possible routes - from San Jose on the Pan American Highway to San Isidro then Dominical, or from San Jose, westward to Jaco, then down the coast to Dominical. Or, for a shorter drive, you can fly either Quepos or Palmar Sur, and then rent a car.
Domincal is a laid back, funky little surf town at one of the most consistent surf breaks in Costa Rica. Playa Dominical, where the waves can get quite large, has lifeguards on duty. Within an easy drive of Villa Baha, there are many other beaches to explore to the north and south. All are uncrowded and share the spectacular scenery — dark sand lined by tall palm trees with a backdrop of the jungle covered mountains.

- The serene master bedroom, with king size bed, has ocean views and direct access to the pool and veranda, perfect for late night swimming. The 2nd floor guest suite, with queen size bed, has access to its own private veranda overlooking two Mexican fountains and with jungle and valley views, and rooftop deck with ocean views. The adjacent media room has comfortable lounge seating for viewing TV and movies (with Satellite SkyTV and DVD/VCR). This room also serves as a third bedroom with either two twin beds, or, with a quick furniture shift, a queen size, bed height Aerobed if that is preferred. For large groups or greater privacy, a second queen size air bed can be set up in the living room. The villa's very flexible floor plan allows for a variety of sleeping arrangements for anywhere from 4-8 persons.
