Travel Details: Ft Myers airport is about 30 minutes from the condo. A rental car is best, but a taxi will get you there. A large supermarket is 2 blocks away and a beach trolley will take you anywhere on the island from shopping to restaurants. So a rental car is not a must, but an added plus. Ft Lauderdale airport is about 1.5 hours and an easy drive with only 2 left turns on the entire trip.
