Year-round vacation cozy lakeside contemporary house in Alburgh village near Lake Champlain (about a two minute walk). Sleeps 10-12 people, has a huge deck with gorgeous views, sunsets, and a small front porch with a swing. Very large family room with popular board games and Play Station 2 with a variety of games. A small library (a little of everything for everyone), fully equipped modern kitchen, 2-car garage with room for bicycles. Two-level rental property featured cathedral ceilings, bath-spa, 3 queen beds, 2 twin size beds, full size sofa and futon - inside. Outside: extra parking space for a boat, flower garden, short trails in the woods, near by walking/bike paths along the lake through VT-NY-Quebec, Canada. 3 major ski resorts - Jay Peak, Smuggler's Notch in Vermont, Lake Placid in New York. A 10 minute drive to the largest sand beach - Alburg dunes - to Alburg Golf club, bike path around the lake, visit the islands of Vermont, Adirondack, Green Mountains, Burlington.

Notes: We welcome families and friends. The house is situated on a little hill and the doorways are a standard size. There is no smoking inside the house or in the surrounding area. There is a housekeeper that lives in the furnished basement. The housekeeper is not there very often. She is there to help you or answer any questions you have about the house or the surrounding areas. She can also provide the information about locations of organic food farms, not just vegetables, but eggs, cheese (goat, cow), real milk and meat. Let us know the situation and we'll be happy to accommodate your needs.

The Views: The views are what draws tourists to Vermont. We have a cool summer, which make people flock to the beaches of Lake Champlain. The fall foliage season has an amazing array of color throughout Vermont. The winter brings many skiers and snowboarders to Jay Peak. The spring has amazing blossoms of trees and a real sense of aroma of the outside. Montreal is fabulous all seasons and no matter what you will always find something to do or if you don't want to do anything, just relax.

Ski: Skiing is Vermont. We have many mountains to ski on. The closest on is Jay Peak, which is not as crowded as some of the others. The trails are groomed for the inexperienced, but very challenging for the experienced.

Golf: There is a golf course just about 30 minutes away.

Guest Book: Bring family and friends and enjoy the peacefulness of Vermont. If you get a little restless you can drive about 45 minutes to Montreal and enjoy a night out on the town with wonderful shopping and delicious restaurants.
