The boardwalk is fun for biking, rollerblading or walking. Discover crabs, shells and other sea life at the nearby jetties. In the evening, enjoy a crackling fire in the designated fire rings on the beach while roasting your favorite treats and sharing stories. The tennis courts, basketball, kids playground and the bay (Mother's Beach) are just across the street from this charming beach retreat.
Shops, grocery stores, restaurants, fine dining, nightlife, bike-kayak-boat rentals, harbor cruises, chartered fishing boats, Catalina Island tour boats, the ferry to Balboa Island and the Balboa Fun Zone (one of California's oldest coastal amusement parks) are all within walking distance. Park your car when you arrive and walk to it all during your stay!
