Further details about this house rental
This winter two of the bathroom have been completely remodeled. Downstairs now offers a full bathroom with shower. Upstairs full bath features a large tub with tile surround. Wifi and cable television are available. All linens (sheets and towels) are included in the price. Comments from Guests: Winchester was such a pleasant surprise. This city is remarkable in that all of the old homes survived the Civil War. It has a low-key lovely small town feeling. You can walk 2 blocks to the downtown which has a large pedestrian-only mall. The Peter Miller House has been renovated in such a way as to retain the very old flavor of Winchester homes but with all of the modern amenities you could want. A great kitchen, really nice fenced-in rear courtyard, 3 nice bedrooms, modern bathrooms and a lovely common room and dining room. There are nice shops and restaurants within walking distance plus tons of lovely very old Winchester houses to look at as you stroll around the neighborhood. Nearby attractions, include the excellent Museum of the Shenandoah, a winery, and nice hiking plus lots more all quite close by. We hope to return, thanks! Ski: Bryce, Wisp and Whitetail are the closest.
