This classic Victorian home has been totally rehabilitated in 2006 (available for rental or for Sale, will entertain partners). The kitchen is new, new baths and painted in a classic white to accentuate the wonderful trim accents. The great room has both dining and lounging facilities, 2nd fl den for reading or playing games. With two queen beds, king/two twin beds (the bed converts) and 3 full baths. A deck off the kitchen w/ outside dining and a screened porch lounge w/ views of bird sanctuary/ protected marshlands. The home has central HVAC, screens and gets a great breeze off the bay. Situated on a quiet end of town, 1000 yds to a boat launch, seafood vendor, good walk/bike trails all within walking distance. A short walk to Maddox Boulevard, 1 of 2 main concentrations of eateries, taverns and shopping. The street has bike paths that will take you 10 minutes to enter Assateague preserve. A nice yard for the kids to play, private off street parking and across from bird sanctuary

Chincoteague Island and its close brother Assateague National Park
were voted best beach for wildlife by Travel and Leisure Magazine. A
top pick for birdwatching, waterfowl and upland game hunting,
fishing of all kinds and of course the famous wild ponies, this
resort is a sleeper. The town is family oriented, with wonderful
dining and drinking establishments and a pristing uncrowded beach.
The town has plenty for all to do and many easy day trips like the
Ocean City Boardwalk are but a short drive. Visit Tangier Island,
Cape Charles, Onnacock and some of the other Cheasapeake towns or
experience the local sites like the decoy museum, the wildlife
tourism center or the national park. It has all the normal beach
town stuff too, mini golf, arcades, boat tours but it will surprise
you with its active fishing boat fleet, its many parks and the fresh
local seafood.

- Very affordable beach vacation for a family!
- This house is used by its two owners on rare occasions, if you desire to rent it and have special circumstances, email me and I will try to accommodate you on pricing, amenities and services. Its a great house for a few couples, a guys/girls weekend, a family or two small families. Its offered at cottage pricing but your getting a full house that has been completely redone!
- The rents during prime season include the cleaning fee, also there is a $200 security deposit and a $36.50 lease charge to the realtor.
