4-Star Quality: Out of 'The Age of Sail' is offered this stately home custom built in 1885 for the prominent sea caption, Rubean Ritcey. Like Nova Scotia sailing vessels these early sea captains' homes were architectural gems. The 'Ritcey House' has now been restored to its former glory, staying true to its historic integrity. All of our properties are inspected and licensed under Nova Scotia Government regulations for weekly rentals and are rated 4-Star by the Canada Select Tourism Industry. This insures the guest a quality property and benchmark of standards. We do not represent any unlicensed weekly rentals, per Provincial law. Please inquire about information on additional units. Most homes offer wood stoves or fireplaces, decks, modern fully equipped kitchens and washer and dryers. In addition, several of our properties offer the use of a sailboat, canoe and paddle boat in addition to bicycles. Many of our homes are pet friendly. Professionally cleaned and managed.
Just bring your suitcase...everything is here: Take an ocean kayak or have a picnic by the water. Deep-Sea fishing, golf, whale-watching tours, lobster dinners and festivals are all within minutes away.
