The Deserts' Seductive Lure: The clear, crisp desert landscape is in our blood. We have been coming here with our families for over 40 years and finally purchased a home of our own. We are the 3rd generation to find this desert enchanting and stress relieving. We know you will too. Whether you wish to hit the town for shopping, fine dining, golf or tennis, or just take it easy in the lovely warm climate, the desert has it all. One of our favorite weekend habits is roaming the stalls at the College of the Desert (COD) outdoor Street Fair. They offer everything from a bargain pair of sunglasses to freshly grown local produce. Don't miss the sweet delicious, tastes-like-candy Medjool and Deglet Noor dates grown right here in neighboring Indio. Another favorite of ours and our children is The Living Desert. A 'zoo' of sorts, set in a desert climate with offerings to view camels, big-horned sheep, giraffes and much more wildlife as well as indigenous plants & landscape. It's an education-filled afternoon.

Golfer's Paradise : If it is golf you are looking for, you have come to the right place. The desert is home to over 100 courses. Many of these courses offer world class fairways that are available for your enjoyment. Just across the street is Marriott's Desert Springs Resort or the lovely Desert Willow public course. The Westin Mission Hills where the Nabisco Championship is played is just 10 minutes away, or try the PGA West Stadium Course. We have a Golf Guide magazine listing all the area courses. The hardest part will be selecting where to play!!!

Holiday Rentals: This home is ideal for snowbirds looking for a temperate climate during those wintry months back home. Where else can you boast about sitting outdoors at the pool in February and getting a suntan! Plan your next holiday vacation to get away for a week or more to enjoy all the California desert has to offer!

Guest Book: 1)'We had a wonderful time at the Murphy's condo. It was decorated so nicely and was very clean. We have stayed in the desert before and found this condo to be the nicest. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was so cozy. We also appreciated the Starbucks coffee and snacks. We would love to visit again! 2)Kelly and Shawn have turned their lovely and very comfortable condo in the Lakes into a guests dream. Great Beds, Decor is first class and the thoughtful extras for our arrival were a total surprise. We enjoyed the patio and ate dinner out there every night. Having that really nice green area (The golf course) that seems to go on forever just added to our pleasure. 3)Kelly and Shawn have done a wonderful job making their condo at The Lakes very comfortable and very well equipped. Nothing has been forgotten and there are so many extras that make staying here wonderful, including the robes, starbucks cofee, martini glasses and shaker for making crantinis' at happy hour..
