The Winthrop Lakes area is close to shopping in Augusta, antiquing in Hallowell and the many summer features of the region. We are only a 45 minute drive to Freeport's L.L. Bean and other outlet stores. Ideal central location in the state for fall foliage. For winter snowmobilers and cross-country skiers, this house is ideal with many central Maine snowmobile trails in the area and 10 miles of lake to ski upon.
