Golf: Highlands Reserve sits atop one of the highest areas of Florida and offers remarkable scenery along with a course designed for hot golf. This championship Mike Dasher design gives you pine tree-lined fairways reminiscent of the Carolinas, open spacious fairways likened to the great Scottish courses, and a bit of old Florida with citrus trees along the countryside. Open to the public, fees start at the low twilight rate of $35 and peak at less than $80! But don't let the rate fool you, this course is truly top-notch. Having golfed some of the best courses in California, Arizona, and Florida, my golf-addict husband gives this course a thumbs up! They also offer excellent specials, like discounts for multi-round tickets and for guests staying at a home in the community.
