Everyone loves Deer Park. It's close to Loon and Canon Mountains and 15 miles from Waterville Valley and has probably the most luxurious clubhouse in the area. Skating at your front door. Summer offers river and lake swimming, Pemi River kayaking, natural water slides and area attractions like Clark's Trading Post and The Flume. Hiking trails are a stone's throw away, as are bike trails. This unit avoids stairs, and is well appointed. Gas fireplace, open floor plan and bathed in light! (end unit means quieter space with more windows). Unit is smoke free (very important) and has an entertainment closet with puzzles, board games, books and movies. The Pemi River is just feet from the back deck of the unit and is swimmable. Walk to breakfast in the charming village of North Woodstock, lunch under the pines at the Old Mill Waterfall a few steps away. The Hobo Railroad track becomes a snowmobile trail in the winter and there are miles of cross country skiing trails nearby.

If you love the great outdoors but you don't wish to leave conveniences too far behind this is where you want to be! Nearby are bike trails, hiking trails, Franconia Notch attractions, and at your back doorstep, the Pemi River for kayaking, swimming and fishing. Being a bona-fide four season resort with a luxurious clubhouse just a few hundred feet away this offers more free amenities than you could imagine. Out the front door is a skating rink, out the back door the babbling, swim able, fishable Pemi River. There is also a swimming pond by the clubhouse. Condo is just off exit 32 of Interstate 93. 2 miles to Loon. 8 miles to Canon . 15 miles to Waterville Valley.

Notes: No central A/C, but fans are available for that rare uncomfortable evening. Well behaved children warmly welcomed. Lake and river swimming available within 100 meters. Pets are not considered under any circumstances. Single level unit will accommodate mobility impaired guests but is not accessible by ADA standards and is not accessible to those who are non-ambulatory and not at all during the winter months. No grab bars in baths. 2' cement pads and walkways that are not wheelchair friendly. Playground adjacent to club house just steps from the unit. Wireless internet available in upper level of club house and free broadband (Time Warner) in the unit. Bring your laptop. PayPal used to accept Credit Card payments

Babbling River and Whispering Pines...: Bathed in light, this one level affords ease of living and spacious rooms; ski locker at front door, portico for ski-boots (and shoes), open floor plan with windows and fireplace. All fronting on the Pemi River via a short walk through a wood buffer. Across the road is the lakefront clubhouse with quite a large heated swimming pool, spa, and sauna area. Also available is an exercise room overlooking the lake, and a weight room, very clean and modern. Racquetball and handball courts, sandy beach area, fireplace lounge, video library, balconies, decks, vaulted post and beam ceilings...a fabulous clubhouse!

A Gorgeous Setting: Winter sports at your doorstep.... skating rink on site, ski shuttle to Loon Mountain free from clubhouse several times daily., miles of snow mobiling and cross country ski trails nearby. Only a few feet from the unit are the Clubhouse and Lake, and surrounding you friendly neighbors and efficient staff members. Walk to the charming village of North Woodstock for breakfast. Plenty of live music venues for the evening, bring your own instrument for open mike nights at some. In between breakfast and dinner, sightseeing in the White Mountains (White Mountain National Park is 5 minutes down the road), local museums, theaters (live and film), golf courses, river kayaking, fishing at your back door, and hiking the most beautiful mountains in the East. Well...the rest is up to you.

Not handicapped Accessible: Although the unit is on a single floor, there are substantial uphill grades leading to front door and the back door has a circuitous route to the patio. Both entries have at least a 2' cement rise with no ramp. There are narrow hall and doorways and no grab bars in bathrooms but a mobility impaired partially mobile person would be quite comfortable here. However, snow may impede access to the unit during the winter depending on ambulatory abilities.

Ski: Loon Mountain Shuttle bus runs from Clubhouse door to slopes several times a day. Canon Mountain is 8 miles north and has very reasonable weekly rates and half day rates with phenomenal views. Waterville Valley is only 15 miles south. On most slopes children 6 and under ski for free. Miles of cross country ski trails in the White Mountain national forest within 5 miles of the front door. 15+ miles of groomed snowmobile trials on the hobo rail tracks in the winter a half mile from the front door.
