This single family home is located in a unique niche of Pt. Pleasant bordering Bayhead. The house is situated on a large, grassy, corner property (side street is dead end; great for kids) with off street parking for 4 cars. Take morning and afternoon walks just down the street to Baypointe Harbor and fish off the dock, or to the channel in historic Lovelandtown. Lovely, impeccably maintained neighborhood; provides pleasant walk to Bayhead beach via a footpath over creek (under 3/4 mile;15 min walk). Children of all ages will enjoy Jenkinson's boardwalk and aquarium in Pt. Pleasant, a 5 minute drive away. Used by owner, impeccably maintained and rented strictly to families and mature adults. All amenities (below) plus 2 Bayhead beach badges included. Half bath added and DR renovated in 2007; just renovated for 20008: master BR with new queen mattress/bed; A/C and ceiling fans throughout home. Bright, clean, tastefully decorated, comfortable and fully stocked for convenience.

Our home is part of the Lovelandtown Historic District, located in a desirable location that is close to water - ocean, bay and channel -in almost every direction! Bayhead is one of the Jersey shore's gems, and a sought after, upscale rental area. Our home is literally steps away from the Bayhead border, and closer to the beach than many Bayhead neighborhoods (just under 3/4 of a mile). Parking beachfront at Bayhead is easy and available for those who prefer to drive. If Pt. Pleasant Beach is your preference, we are less than a 5 minute drive away, or a bike ride away for enthusiasts! Non residents may join Johnson Bros. Pool Club for 1/2 to full season. We also offer a professional quality adult surfboard for an additional fee. A pristine beach (Bayhead is truly different), Jersey's best waterfront rawbars, excellent restaurants, amusement parks and more, all within easy access.

Notes: The downstairs living room has a double pull out couch, and a futon off the DR (very comfy). Well appointed, updated, spacious kitchen with countertop bar. Fully renovated DR (seats 8 with counter seats) and brand new 1st floor half bath, completed in 2007. Rustic brick fireplace and exposed brick wall in LR complements wood framed windows that let streams of sunshine into the 1st floor living area (the rustic fireplace makes this a perfect winter retreat, as well). New patio set seats 4 on the back deck, overlooking the grassy yard and dead end street. Picnic table and benches in yard, shaded by trees.
