Get away from civilization with the best it has to offer. Water view, beautifully furnished three bedroom house filled with light, books, pictures, music, movies for all ages, games. Not your typical Cape Cod cottage but rather bright 'casa Mexicana' with open spacious living area with skylights and cathedral ceiling; woodwork throughout. It comfortably sleeps six, but you won't want more than two of you after you see the romantic upstairs master bedroom suite with large whirlpool bath and oversize shower, custom Anderson windows and skylights. Share the water view from the large deck with permanent gas grill. The kitchen is complete with new appliances, dishwasher, coffee/espresso maker, electric tea pot, toaster and microwave; washer and dryer in the half-finished basement. Outside enclosed warm shower; ceiling fans in every room; cable TV, VHS/ cassette players... and a hammock.

You are within a short walk to the private warm-water association beach; a swim across will take you to the secluded Washburn Island, a state park, with its sandy beaches, clamming/shell fishing. You can also(successfully) fish from the beach or use your own or our tandem kayak - a right of way is across from the house - to explore the local bay, marshes and rivers. There's a rental place (Edward's marina) for all kinds of boats around the corner. Falmouth is very quaint with some great restaurants, more beaches and various opportunities for shopping lovers. Vibrant Mashpee Commons is just a short drive. Woods Hole offers more charming restaurants and shopping, oceanographic institute and the ferry to Martha's Vineyard for a great day trip or whale watching.
