Our Vail, Arizona Villa is nestled in the gated community of Wing View, Rancho Del Lago Golf Course. We have decorated it with an eclectic southwest flare with attention paid to all your needs from a well stocked kitchen, flat screen TV, quality linens, Vonage phone service and high speed internet. Upon arrival you enter a gated court yard. Then, it is into the great room with views of the second green and the Rincon Mountains. Out the back door you have a large bricked lanai and patio with comfortable furniture, a built in gas grill and well appointed landscaping. Copper Mesa offers a king size bed in the master bedroom with a private bath, a deep soak tub and two pedestal sinks. The second bedroom offers a queen bed and the third bedroom serves as an office with a comfortable trundle bed. Our community pool & spa is only a few doors down the street. Tucson International Airport is a 20 minute drive away and great shopping is within 30 minutes.

Car: necessary

Of course, golf is the most frequented activity at Del Lago; but one should not forget the 37 walking trails around Tucson. Also worth noting are the scenic mountain drives along Mount Lemmon, the southern most ski resort in Tucson. A one-hour drive south will find you at the border city of Nogales, Mexico. Great shopping abounds with plenty of traditional Mexican cuisine. Tucson also offers incredible antique and resale shops, which happen to be my favorite. There are a number of riding stables nearby, as well as the Saguaro National Park, which offers miles of both on-road and off-road biking. There is also a wide range of entertainment within Tucson. One half hour drive to the south of Vail is Tubac, a town full of galleries and upscale shops. Ask me for information about Eco-Jeep tours around the surrounding mountains.
