Charming farmhouse circa 1860, surrounded by 140 acres of totally private beautiful secluded woods and meadows. Located at the end of a long private driveway. The property is a truly magical place with lovely views and old stone walls. Located in Callicoon NY, it is about 2 hours from Manhattan. Just five minutes from the Delaware River. There are five bedrooms with a total of 3 full-size beds and 4 twin beds, sleeps 10. Large country kitchen with wood stove. This comfortable home is fully furnished. In the living room are many books, games, record player (with old records) & CD player and VCR. The spring-fed pond is stocked with large mouth bass. Wildlife is abundant and terrific bird watching. There are fruit trees and blueberry bushes in the garden. In the yard is a tree swing and picnic table. Great hiking on the property or simply relax in the hammock. Gather around the fire pit at night and roast marshmallows. Extraordinary stargazing. Pets considered - upon approval.

The farmhouse is located at the top of a mountain five minutes from town. Callicoon is a quaint old-fashioned town with wonderful antique shops, restaurants, movie theater and an excellent grocery store. The Delaware River offers swimming, canoeing, rafting and tubing at Skinners Falls. Nearby is the original Woodstock Festival site. Swimming, hiking, boating, fishing, golfing, horseback riding, antique shopping, White Lake, Monticello Raceway and Casino, Fort Delaware and Delaware Arts Center are all close by. There are music festivals, county fairs, country auctions and farmers markets to enjoy.
