The caretaker/gardener lives on the premises. Swimming, surfing, or sandcastle building are all easily accessible at nearby Corn Hill Beach on the bayside, and Longnook or Ballston Beach on the oceanside. Morning croissants and wonderful deli sandwiches, groceries and newspapers, the Truro post office, bait & tackle shop and fish market are all 1 mile down quiet Castle Road. Castle Hill Center for the Arts is around the corner, as are the local farmstand and Pamet River Harbor. Golfers come from far and wide to play the oldest golf course on Cape Cod, the Highland Links, a public 9-hole par 36 combination of wind, dune and breath-taking ocean views. Pets allowed w/ prior approval.
