This property is located in the Lakes Region of Maine, northwest of Portland, ME. Cottage on west shore of Long Lake is north of Bridgton. Well-kept family cottage is very private and will sleep 8 guests. 2 Bedrooms on first floor, Bedroom 1, 1Queen; Bedroom 2; 2 twin bunk beds sleeps 4, and Bedroom on the second floor;1Queen; 2 futons. Wooded natural landscaping has those great picture postcard views from the first floor windows. The first floor has an open floor plan, the second floor has a large master bedroom (suite) with outstanding lakefront views. A woodstove on the first floor will take the chill out of those cool nights. Enjoy the large permanent dock with great fishing, swimming, and boating on your own, private 100 foot + lake-front access to the north (quiet) end of Long Lake. A shallow sandy area is just a few steps down to the lake. Additionally, there is a deep water entry (4+ ft) off our dock. Enjoy a refreshing swim to our swim float

Golf at fine area golf courses in Sebago, Sunday River, and our local course in Bridgton. Many nearby restaurants featuring fresh seafood, and of course the Lakes Region's outstanding Fall foliage. Railroad and history buffs will love researching information on The Bridgton and Saco River Narrow Gage Railroad. This small narrow gage railroad serviced the tourist trade during running from Bridgton to Harrison at the turn of the 20th Century. (You can see the old remains of the roadbed that ran across the property).

When you decide to make a reservation, contact us and we will mail you a rental agreement. We will hold your reservation upon receiving 50% of the rental and a $400 security deposit. The remaining balance is due 90 days prior to your arrival date. When we have the returned agreement and the deposits, we will mail you a confirmation letter. If booking within 90 days a certified check or money order is required.

Over 40 miles of boating on a chain of three pristine Maine lakes. We have secluded docking accommodations for boats up to 22'. Smoking is allowed outside only. Please be considerate and do not leave ashes or 'butts' on the grounds.' Pets are allowed for an additional fee of $75. We ask that you be considerate and observe the Maine leash laws and please curb your pets! And please no wet pets in the house!

Guest Book: ) Other activities include fishing, shopping, live theater during the Summer, The Magic Lantern Movie Theater in Bridgton, boating, sailing, water skiing, hiking, rock climbing, arcade attractions, miniature golf, watercraft rentals, float plane rides, and the Songo River Queen Riverboat that will cruise the Songo River. Nostalgic Train Rides and outlet shopping in North Conway, NH only a 40 minute drive from our House. You are only minutes from Freyburg, and the Freyburg Fair in the Fall. Only a short drive and you will find the coast of Maine with its unique beauty and charm. The Portland waterfront is only 40 minutes away.
