The Idlewild is set back from a quiet, tree-lined road that runs parallel to Manomet Beach and the ocean. Large, turn of the century homes and well-kept summer cottages dot the neighborhood. Beautiful sunflowers, hydrangeas, lilacs,hostas, and stately 100 year old cedar trees surround our property. The Idlewild also has a large vegetable and herb garden and guests are always welcome to gather fresh basil, tomatoes, rosemary, chives, and cilantro for your appetizers and cookouts! We strive to make our grounds reflect the peaceful tranquility our guests feel upon arrival to rest and truly get away from it
