Because we recognize the unique value in spending quality time with loved ones surrounded by the beauty of Acadia National Park, we donate a portion of our proceeds to local organizations that are committed to sustaining the beauty and well being of the Mount Desert Island area.

Rental Process: Step 1: The phone call Give us a call regarding the house you are interested in. We will check availability, answer any questions you might have, make sure the house is a good fit for your needs. To hold the reservation, we will need a credit card number. Step 2: The lease We will send you a lease and tenant information form. You will return these with a security deposit, and first rental deposit. Once received, we will send you a reservation letter and copy of your signed lease. Step 3: Final confirmation Thirty days before your arrival, your second rental deposit is due. Once received, we will send you a final confirmation letter including a map with directions to the house and key location. Step 4: Security deposit returned Within two weeks following the end of your rental, we will send you your security deposit (minus any charges for damage, outstanding bills, excessive cleaning) and a quality survey form.

Cancellation Policy: Should the Lessee be unable to occupy the premises for any reason, except the fault of the Lessor, the Lessor will keep all payments and the Lessee will be liable for the remainder of the rent due. If the Lessor is able to rent the premises for the same period of time covered by the lease to another tenant, Lessee with be refunded payments less a 15% of rental cost booking fee.

Guest Book: I had a great time relaxing here in your lovely cottage. We felt so at home. The kitchen had everything we needed- spices, towels, pans, napkins, plastic bags- thank you for supplying them. It was great. We hope to be back.---After spending the day exploring, it was nice to return to the cottage, a cup of tea, and a comfortable bed- made even better by the flannel sheets on a cool night.---The kitchen is beautiful. We loved the soft, soft sheets.---The cottage was great- clean, comfortable, and convenient. Nice kitchen, soft sheets, a great place to come home to after hiking.---Quiet and private and yet near the park and town---Location- walking to Compass Harbor---Very comfortable- very complete in the way of kitchen set-up.---Well stocked and supplied---This was the perfect place to spend our honeymoon! Thanks for everything.---We loved having a cute cottage in the woods to come home to every evening! It was great to have a cozy home to unwind in after hiking, biking, paddling.
