Farm fresh food is available locally, and our kitchen is ready for the challenge, with three ovens, two separate sink areas and a friendly layout, gourmet chefs would be proud. Nestled in the northern Catskill Mountains, the home is a convenient 3 hours from New York City, and 3.5 hours from Boston. It's far enough away to know you're in the country but close enough for an easy, relaxing trip for the weekend. Enjoy a warm soak in the jacuzzi when the weather is cool, or a cool dip in the lake in the Summer. There is a refreshing breeze off the lake in the Summers as well.
Ski: We are 45 minutes from Windham mountain and 40 minutes to Hunter Mountain. Ski Plattekill is also 45 minutes away.
Other Activities: Baseball hall of fame, soccer hall of fame, near SUNY Oneonta and Hartwick College
