The kitchen is fully equipped with oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwater and microwave amongst other things, there is a washing machine and television, and telephone. Downstairs there is also a WC and bathroom. Upstairs are four double bedrooms, one single bedroom, one bathroom, one shower room, WC's, and a sauna. The gardens are beautifully kept in the traditional style with avenues of topiary, lawns and shady centuries old trees. The terrace looks onto the River Loire: UNESCO World Heritage (and last untamed river in Europe). Very quiet, and peaceful property, no neighbours, except the housekeeper's property.

Close to the Manor ...: CHAMBORD CHATEAU iis one of the geatest displays of human vanity with its 440 cavernous, rooms and tower built for the king François 1er to visit, which neglected to include its own stairway ...The CHERVERY VINEYARDS ,are to the south of Chambord, and CHERVERNY CHATEAU has some magnificent paintings and a hunting museum .Further south is VALENCAY and its splendid formal gardens and another chance to taste the wine at local vineyards. Also many great CHATEAUX as BLOIS, CHAUMONT ( With a famous summer Garden Festival ), AMBOISE, CHENONCEAUX , LE CLOS LUCE ( where Leonardo da Vinci retired and died ) etc...Many attractive and typical villages on the banks of the RIVER LOIRE as Meung sur Loire, Beaugency, Saint Ay where the Manor is located, each with their own chateau, fresh market, etc.. and there are huge of other deep in the ORLEANS FOREST ...
