Behind this beachfront property lies the impressive Merendon Mountain, home of the 60 thousand-acre Cusuco National Park, which has a tropical rainforest and a highland cloud forest, both featuring exotic wildlife (National Geographic Magazine, February 2001 issue). Our fully equipped, furnished and decorated estate has 6 bedrooms, living/dining room, kitchen, 7 bathrooms, hardwood deck, pool, terrace overlooking the beach and pool, palapa, hammocks, horses'barn; perfectly built within four (4) acres. All rooms and living areas are air-conditioned. The estate is fully staffed with an excellent gourmet cook, maid, driver, pool service and gardener. 'Because Americans feel safer, enjoy white sand beaches, sunny days and cheaper living, they are increasingly visiting Honduras for a vacation or as a retirement place' (The Washington Post, Sunday, August 29, 2004, Page A18). The Flight From Miami Takes Only Two Hours !
Guest Book: Zapotillos Keys, a biological marine reserve in the Caribbean Sea, between Honduras and Belize featuring the world`s best Coral Reef, ideal for snorkeling and scuba diving (1 hour boat trip, North). San Pedro Sula, the industrial and financial center of Honduras, has many large cities' attractions, excellent restaurants & nightlife (1.5 hours, S.E.). Copan Ruins, home of the Maya Civilization two thousand years ago (3.5 hours, S.W.). All driving distances shown in hours, minutes, and direction (see map).
