The villa is within close proximity of Whitehouse, Westmoreland - a small south coast township best known for its fishing, where a local outdoor market operates on Fridays and Saturdays. On Friday and Saturday the local outdoor market operates to provide fresh fruits, vegetables and meats. For more extensive shopping the town of Black River is located 12 miles east, and the town of Savanna-La-Mar is located 15 miles west.
