The house faces the rocky coastline on Abalone Point, backs up to the golf course and is near the end of runway 12 and the tie downs for easy access from your private plane. You can spend your time gazing at the waves crashing on the rocks, the whales off shore from December to March, the golfers on the golf course and the towering King Mountain Range or you participate in the many varied activities available in this area called the Lost Coast. The house was recently refurbished for maximum vacation enjoyment. A completely equipped gourmet kitchen, marble master bath with jacuzzi tub and down-quilted beds wrap you in luxurious surroundings entertained by the ever-changing sights and sounds of nature.

Shelter Cove, on the Lost Coast has a myriad of activities to keep you busy and surrounded by nature. The water sports are the most popular along with hiking and biking. Fishing season brings salmon, ling cod and other bottom fish to the cove for the avid and casual fisherman. Fishing boats are available to take you out or you can fish from the rocks. Abalone divers find huge 10+ inch abalone. Hiking, biking, walks on Black Sand Beach, and the craggy coastline. Golfing on the course surrounding the runways and overlooking the coastline. Snorkeling, diving, boating, sailing and surfing are all sports of choice at Shelter Cove. One of our favorite pastimes at the cove is shelling and tide pooling. The natural life is always changing and brings new joys every time we view it.
