A very unique haven situated on what was a private family compound with deeded private beach on Cape Cod Bay. The beach is only a 2 minute walk on a beautiful sandy path which passes a cranberry bog along the way (house to water is 700 feet-a rare find on the Cape). The rambling, airy & bright 3000 sq. ft. home has been renovated over the past 3 years and has all the modern amenities one would want. An expansive multi-level deck off the dining room places you in a secluded tree shrouded area ideal for bird-watching or just sun, salt air and ocean sounds. The large living room with TV, DVD player & stereo also has a fireplace and a wooded view from the large bay window. Besides the full dining room, the eat-in kitchen is fully equipped. The master bedroom with queen size bed has its own full bath. The 2nd & 3rd bedrooms each have twin beds and share another full bath. The 4th bedroom with 2 twin beds has its own 1/2 bath. Rare find - close to beach & bike trail.

Besides the great beach that goes on forever, we are only 1/4 mile away from the Cape Cod Bike Trail which goes on for 30 miles meandering around kettle ponds, lakes, past salt marshes, Nickerson State Park and through pine forests. The town of Orleans has many high quality craft shops, art galleries, fine restaurants, tennis courts and live theater within walking distance. The Atlantic Ocean is a 10 minute drive to the east side of Orleans and the U. S. National Seashore Center is just 15 minutes away. Provencetown and Hyannis are only 30 minutes. Deep sea fishing charters, whale watching, antiquing, and many other activities are at hand in this year-round community.
