Just outside your door is a nature trail to a bench for your own secluded (usually) sunset over Pere Marquette Beach on Lake Michigan. A short walk in the early morning along Edgewater St. & Lake Shore Dr. affords you some beautiful sunrises over Muskegon Lake. A few yards from your door is a bike trail that is part of the Shoreline Trail System. Bus and trolley service by the house. Walk to sailing regattas and Wednesday evening races or weekly volleyball league play and tournaments. Walk to lunch or dinner at Captain Jack's Bar & Grill with a top-notch view of Muskegon's harbor entrance. Just as close is upscale Dockers Fish House & Lounge facing over Harbour Towne Yacht Basin. Hours could be spent watching the boat traffic going through the channel between Lake Michigan & Muskegon Lake. While there, a visit to the World War II submarine, Silversides, gives a peek in to our nation's naval history. Besides the playgrounds across the street, there are several more close by.

  Cancellation & Refund: If you need to cancel, it must be done in writing. Damage Deposit & Cleaning Fee will be returned in full amount as long as the property was not used. Rent + Tax will be refunded as long as we subsequently rebook the same dates for, at least, the same rate. If a lesser rate for the same time is all we can obtain, the balance will be returned minus a $50.00 rebooking fee. Refunds would be sent after full rebooked payments. If the home can not be rebooked, we might consider a partial refund. The best assurance of covering a possible loss would be to contact your travel or insurance agent. They can usually provide trip insurance.
• Check-in 3pm or later/Check-out 10am or earlier. County Room Tax is 5% of applicable rate for stays less than 30 days. Damage Deposit is $200.00 & Cleaning Fee is $50.00. Both are refundable after home is inspected & found to be left tidy. If there are no damages or costs incurred along with an overall cleanliness, the $250.00 is usually returned in less than a week. To reserve the home for a week(or otherwise) a money order or personal check must be received. Credit card info over the phone is another option. The deposit amount is 1/2 the total of rate + tax + damage deposit + cleaning fee. Balance is due, no later than, one month before stay commences. A signed contract will also be required.
