This popular and charming in-town house is situated on tidal Somes Cove with gorgeous easterly views of Somes Harbor and the mountains of Acadia National Park. Sea kayak (2 provided), canoe, or boat literally from your backyard from the new deck and dock (see photos). A kayaker's dream. Watch bald eagles, ospreys and other wildlife that come to Somes Cove. The house is right on Main Street in the historic village of Somesville. It has all the modern amenities. The kitchen is complete with everything you need. The backyard serves as an awesome place to relax and reflect while you watch the tides and enjoy the backyard deck,/dock, outdoor fireplace and grill. Centrally located on MDI, you are only 10 minutes from Bar Harbor, NEH, or SWH. Convenient access to the bus stop for the 'Island Explorer'. Nearby access to Somesville Town Landing. Private mooring in Somes Harbor available for boats 20' or less. Truly a great place to stay while you enjoy everything in Acadia.
