Hoxie View Cottage is a charming two bedroom cottage located on Historical Old County Road overlooking Hoxie Pond. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen and a sitting area to read a good book, play a board game or just relax and enjoy the view, family room with TV and DVD/VCR player, extension off family room has a double size bed, two bedrooms with twin bunk beds, bathroom and shower room are separate. Outside has a picnic table, gas grill, small patio with furniture, a hammock and a spectacular view.
Come and stay at 'The House That Arthur Built' and enjoy making memories as we have for 62 years.

Hoxie Pond swimming area and great fresh water fishing are just a short walk from the cottage. One to three miles to Cape Cod Bay beaches, four miles to Sandy Neck Beach with great sandbars at low tide, skim boarding, sand castle making and walking the dunes, Scorton Creek for kayaking at high tide, riding your float with the tide, playing on the sandbars at low-tide and salt water fishing (sweetwater). The Sandwich Boardwalk over Mill Creek is another area for kayaking and playing in the pools at high tide, diving off the bridge or just taking a walk at sunset. The Cape Cod Canal has biking trails along it's banks, fishing, boat rides through the canal, or just enjoy viewing the boats go by from all over the world. There are many golf courses within a few miles, walking paths, outlet shopping, gift and antique shops, the Sandwich Glass Museum, the Heritage Plantation, Thorton Burgess Museum (remembering Peter Rabbit and his friends), and many good area restaurants.

We supply linens, blankets, pillows and towels, the kitchen is complete with a coffee maker, toaster, micro-wave, hand mixer, iron and ironing board, dishes, cookware, utensils, glasses, coffee mugs, coffee and filters, tea, salt, pepper, sugar and some spices, paper towels, napkins and trash bags, dish detergent and bar soap, board games & playing cards. The telephone is for local and emergency calls only.
